To be based locally but Covering several sites across Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
- To provide advice and support to Managers and Staff within NHS Property Services and to support the Principal Safety Lead and Safety Manager in local delivery of HSSF matters.
- Assist in the local delivery of the Health and Safety Plan, Policies and Guidance for NHS Property Services.
- To manage the HSSF issues identified from assessment and audit and to ensure their continued relevance and compliance to legislation and standards.
- Deliver training programmes relating to health safety, security and fire as required locally to NHS Property Services staff
The ideal candidate will preferably have a Nebosh General Certificate and experience within Facilities management and general Health and Safety at an advisory level.
Desirable attributes for candidates to possess would be a background within the National Health Service, or working in a health and safety capacity in the Healthcare sector. Knowledge of Fire Safety and carrying out Fire Risk assessments would also be a preferable.
Membership with IOSH would also be preferable, and a enthusiastic, positive and amiable mindset to working/ travelling and interacting across different sites and people.
