Our client a global FMCG multinational is seeking a Regional Consumer and Market Insights Manager for their MENAT business. The Regional Consumer & Market Insights Senior Manager plays a key role in driving the growth of the brand portfolio and the regional business by influencing the strategies and investment choices based on deep consumer and market understanding. The CMI senior manager will report into the Area CMI Director and work closely with the NAMET Regional Senior VP, key market Marketing & Sales Directors and GMs. You role be will to Influence actions based on performance measurement to drive penetration and market share out performance. You will ensure brand 'win' in market with more effective communication, better Marketing Mix and effective pricing. You will identify and influence action to improve in market and in-store executions to gain share by winning with shoppers & customers through superior understanding of trends & needs as well as strengthening partnerships externally and internally effectively to drive the Region's business, getting partners to strongly support the generation of timely actionable insights. You will strengthen and lead the NAMET CMI organisation to achieve its objectives and visibly impact the region's growth.
As the ideal candidate you will have the following Consumer and Market Insights Experiences and Skills:
8+ years' experience of CMI leadership in multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), candidates with a combination of research Agency experience leading a large multinational FMCG account will also be considered. You must have either multi category or multi country CMI leadership responsibility of a large FMCG multinational business in excess of $300m. You will be able to demonstrate experience and skills in Performance measurement, Marketing Mix Optimisation, Communication development, Innovation, shopper & retailer actionable insights and research agency management as well as strong understanding of brand building strategies, commercialization plans, and revenue & profitability management. You will have a broad understanding and experience across various research disciplines - Qualitative, Quantitative, retail audit and business Analytics insights. You will possess excellent English communication skills both written and oral. Candidates must also have managed a minimum of 1 direct report (executive or similar) at some point in the last 4 years.
