Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy working closely with a range of clients from local authorities and government bodies to SME's and multi-national companies, as well as NFP organisations and community groups.
The majority of the company's work is related to materials resource efficiency, particularly business models, operational optimisation and data gathering around waste prevention, re-use and recycling. They also support organisations in understanding what the circular economy means to their business.
This new role will lead on data research techniques and applications in the field of material resource efficiency and will lead in developing, overseeing, delivering and promoting the data research and analysis across the consultancy team in the field of materials resource efficiency.
Candidates will ideally have experience of working with data analysis and statistical data with a demonstrable ability to interpret and apply this in a commercial manner.
The role will suit candidates who are able to work as part of a team, have the ability to work with data and statistics but also be client facing when required and present themselves appropriately.
Candidates should be degree qualified, possibly in computer science, mathematics, statistics or data science. You will be computer literate including programming languages e.g. VBA XML, Python, VBA, Data mining, data exchange and the use of APIs / XML / CSV / SQL.
A current driving licence is required as the role will involve travel.
