Town Planning Associate Director
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

A chance to work with a leading global multidisciplinary consultancy, in one of the top Town Planning teams in the country, on large scale, complex, and exciting projects.

The Company
Our client is a multinational energy resources and environmental consultancy company. It advises clients on the built and natural environment across diverse economic sectors both public and private. Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking to grow their Birmingham based Town Planning Team, with the addition of an Associate Director of Planning.

The Role of Associate Director
The role of Associate Director of Planning within this exciting organisation involves you taking on a project management role for multi-disciplinary projects; principally this would be for large mixed use, residential led strategic sites.

As Associate Director you would also be responsible for leading inter and intra office teams; successfully delegating, motivating, and managing the teams to produce the best outcome for your clients.

This is also a very client facing role, so you would be involved with marketing events, client presentations, and generating new business from new and existing clients.

The Associate Director based full time in Birmingham Office, but with frequent travel to all parts of country, and some evening work would be required to attend meetings etc.

  • Minimum 8 years' UK Town Planning experience
  • Expertise in housing land supply analysis and policy analysis
  • Ability to negotiate with officers, members and public in respect of housing requirements
  • Project management
  • Time and cost management
  • Report writing
  • Business Development.
  • Major residential planning application experience
