We are seeking to appoint a BTEC Tutor for our Mechanical department.

Reporting into the Operations Manager for Engineering & Automotive the purpose of the role will be to develop, prepare and deliver training to learners, to LSC or other professional bodies' standards.
To ensure the learners are retained and reach the appropriate level to pass course work and assessments in line with LSC / other contractual targets.

Duties to include;

Design and develop product in line with industry/LSC/Professional Bodies contractual standards or Government curriculum.
Delivery of training to industry/LSC/Professional Bodies contractual standards. Provide a stimulating environment for the achievement of learning.
Support learners to raise their personal skill levels, confidence and self-esteem to ensure LSC/professional body contractual targets for successful learners is achieved within timescales.
Support and guide learners to find suitable work placements.
To ensure all regulatory HAS standards are maintained during training delivery.
