Water Resources Consultant
A fantastic opportunity for a Water Resources Consultant to join a really exciting consultancy who largely serve the water sector, as well as companies and governments.
You will be an enterprising and motivated individual who is happy to learn and take responsibility for your projects, with a confident and proactive approach to your work. It is likely that you will have at least five years' technical experience within water resources, metering, water conservation, demand management, catchment planning or leakage. Ideally this experience should come from a consultancy or water industry environment.
As the successful Water Resources Consultant you will assist in the delivery of a wide range of water resources projects in areas such as; leakage strategy and analysis, demand forecasting, water conservation, water resource planning and smart metering.
You will work within a supportive and growing team and the company prides itself on supporting and developing team members where possible. It is preferable if you have some project management experience but this is an area which the company will support your development in if necessary.
- A degree in an engineering, scientific or environmental background
- Be confident in numerical analysis and working with statistics
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS office
- Database or programming packages may be an advantage
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
