Hampshire Sustainability Awards Initiative to Support the Work of the RSPB in 2026

The Big Sustainability Awards initiative is proud to announce that its 2026 gala dinner, scheduled for September 2026, will be held in support of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). The event is being delivered in collaboration with Awards Ambassador Barratt Redrow Homes, whose decade-long partnership with the RSPB is still ongoing, making the organisation the natural choice for this year’s charitable focus.

Now in its eighth year and run by The Southern Sustainability Partnership, The Big Sustainability Awards has celebrated more than 80 organisations across the public and private sectors for their contributions to reducing their environmental impact.

Anita Potten, Director at The Southern Sustainability Partnership, said:
“It has been an honour to work with Barratt Redrow Homes for the past three years and to continue this partnership into 2026. As the leading housebuilder in the country, they work hard on their own sustainability model, particularly regarding the land they build on, which underpins their long-standing association with the RSPB. We are excited to now be able to use our own platform to support the work of this vital charity. The entire evening will feature a British bird theme, and we look forward to recognising the organisations that enter the awards, which are once again free to enter.”

Lynda Daniels, Director at The Southern Sustainability Partnership, added:
“The event will be held at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton on September 24th, and we encourage regional businesses to join us in celebrating sustainability and supporting the work of the RSPB. Corporate hospitality tables for 8 or 10 guests are available, and a small number of award sponsorship opportunities remain. The gala dinner includes a networking reception, host, awards ceremony, entertainment, dinner and charity raffle.”
