Wellbeing

In today’s modern workplace it is crucial to know that when you go to work you will return home again safe and that is appreciated more today than ever. However, it’s not only physical wellbeing that’s important, good employers are realising that a happy and motivated workforce is as important as a physically safe one. Those who are more comfortable, socially connected, healthy and happy at work are likely to be more productive than those who aren’t.

How we view employees and the environment we work in has evolved. So has the awareness and understanding of organisations as to how important people’s wellbeing is and how this adds value to their places of work.

The four key components of workplace wellbeing include:

  • Environment (comfort, temperature etc)

  • Physical (exercise, nutrition)

  • Psychological (stress, rest, learning)

  • Social (relationships, manager)

At Allen & York we recognise the importance of wellbeing in the work environment and the benefits this can have to our clients and candidates alike. Therefore, we provide a dedicated wellbeing recruitment service to help achieve healthier workplaces throughout the UK.

If you have a requirement to resource specialist help in understanding how you can improve your workplace or would like to help clients fulfil their objectives, then speak to us on 01202 888986 or email wellbeing@allen-york.com
