Our client is looking for a dynamic Aquatic Ecologist who will be responsible for providing ecological interpretation of the functionality of aquatic ecosystems and related services.

You'll need to hold a BSc Hons/MSc degree in Aquatic Health or similar, together with professional registration with SACNASP or other professional body. SASS accredited; you'll have solid experience in a similar role within a consultancy. With good foundational knowledge of aquatic ecology, you'll have an understanding and experience of environmental legislation and the National Water Act. With the ability to work with 20kg fish shocker (Smithroot/Halltech) in flowing systems, you'll be able to identify both aquatic macroinvertebrates and/or fish species. An excellent communicator, you'll have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to travel locally and internationally.

A valid driver's license/4x4 Advanced Driving Certificate would be advantageous in this role.
