Clean-up and Remediation Specialist - World Bank-Financed Project
๐ Location: Siem Reap, Kampong Speu, and Kandal, Cambodia
๐ผ Contract: Project-based
A leading consultancy is seeking a Clean-up and Remediation Specialist for a World Bank-financed project focused on the detailed design and construction supervision of landfill and waste treatment infrastructure in Cambodia.
Key Responsibilities:
โ Lead clean-up and remediation projects, particularly dumpsite closures
โ Conduct site investigations and assess environmental contamination
โ Develop and implement remediation strategies for waste sites
โ Ensure compliance with international environmental and safety standards
โ Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, and development banks
Requirements:
โ 10+ years of international experience in waste management and remediation
โ 7+ years of hands-on experience with clean-up and remediation projects
โ Proven track record in remediating closed dumpsites (minimum 2 projects)
โ Experience working with multilateral development banks preferred
