Consultant / Analyst - Energy

£55k- £70k, London / Hybrid working

Are you an experienced electricity modelling professional, with knowledge of the GB power markets?

We're looking for a Consultant / Analyst with Energy experience to join our client's growing Energy Analytics team, who specialise in the analysis and modelling of electricity markets.

The role

You'll be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work, as well as assisting the Government in understanding the effect of their energy policies. You'll do this by working with major UK energy industry participants to aid their strategic decision making. Providing bespoke modelling solutions to aid decision making in a wide range of situations, like developing a stochastic model to assess the security of supply risk in the UK. You will also have an understanding and be able to model the opportunities and risks associated with new power plant investment.

Requirements

As a Consultant / Analyst within Energy, you should have at least 4 years' experience in the Energy industry, preferably in the UK electricity market in an analytical role.

Good communication skills (both oral and in writing) will be required and ideally a background from within a Consultancy environment.
