The organisation has operations worldwide throughout the UK with a diverse range of activities which impact energy usage.
The Energy & Carbon Manager is a key role within the company and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Energy Management System and implementation of the 2025 Energy Strategy & Net Zero, working with key stakeholders across the Global Real Estate & Property function.
This role will work with the Head of Energy, Carbon and Sustainability to develop, manage and report on the net zero carbon emissions and provide energy related advice to customers.
You will support Project Managers to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability are incorporated into the design of key capital projects by assisting the creation of best practice guides for PM's, and oversee the correct implementation of the Minimum Energy Standards and Projects Sustainability tool.
In addition, this role will support the production of energy and carbon reports for a range of internal and external stakeholders, and for key aspects of corporate compliance such as ISO50001 and annual Greenhouse Gas Reporting.
Candidates should be a Chartered Energy Manager or carry a Certified Energy Manager qualification and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Energy Management working in-house or as a consultant.
It would be expected that candidates will be of graduate level and have qualifications in Sustainable Buildings Assessment schemes such as BREEAM, CEEQUAL, LEED, DREAM.
