Energy Software Analyst

📍 Location: London or Edinburgh
💼 Working Arrangements: Hybrid (2 days in the office) | 35 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing

  • Writing and maintaining a complex codebase (no prior C# experience needed)
  • Working with APIs to source, process, and transform energy market data
  • Collaborating with developers and energy market experts to build new features
  • Keeping up to date with wholesale, balancing & frequency response markets
  • Engaging with clients & industry stakeholders

What We're Looking For

🔹 Power market experience - familiarity with GB & European short-term power trading
🔹 Coding skills - proficiency in C#, Python, or similar
🔹 Data-driven mindset - experience in working with calculations and data processing
🔹 Problem solver - turning complex energy challenges into smart solutions
🔹 Strong communicator - ability to work across teams & engage with clients
