HSEQ Adviser

This role for an HSEQ Adviser to be based in London has been created from growth and is working within the transport and technology sector, working closely with site leadership and other key stakeholder to advise and ensure standards are met and exceeded. The role will require travel throughout London, mainly within the M25 boundary with occasional travel further afield for team meetings.

The opportunity will provide coaching and guidance to employees on various projects across the region ensuring risks are identified and managed as well implementing project plans. The role will provide training and mentoring to on site and project teams as well as ensuring interaction and liaison, supporting through advice with a key client.

This position will be the point of contact for addressing issues and will investigate where required incidents and accidents as well as maintaining and updating records. This is a critical role to ensure that works are carried out smoothly and incident free by ensuring continuous training and strong communication is maintained.

Candidates should have experience working across multi-site projects, be comfortable with travel across London, have excellent internal and external communications skills as well as the ability to provide data analysis, auditing and have a strong collaborative manner, confident in their ability to influence as required.

A NEBOSH Diploma or close to achieving would be ideal but the client is willing to invest and train where required. Desirable is a lead auditor qualification as there is a strong systems element within the organisation. This role would suit candidates who have an engineering, rail or transport background for example but one where there is flexibility in the approach.
