Job description
Mechanical/Building Services Inspector with Substation/ National Grid exp Location - Bramford
Responsibilities:
- Review and feedback on Contractor ITPs;
- Monitor onsite Contractor works;
- Continuous surveillance and attendance of hold and witness points within ITPs;
- Ensure works of building systems meet legislative and health and safety requirements and industry standards;
- Attend quality/snag meetings;
- Work with other team members as part of an overall project team.
- Reporting to Client site service quality manager, OFTO Quality Manager and ONCS Site Works Management
- Daily/Weekly Inspection report preparation
· Works to include but not limited to:
- Ventilation / Air Con
- HVAC control principles
- Plumbing
- Domestic hot and cold water
- Heating systems
- Above Ground Drainage
- LV Electrical
- Fire & Security Protection
- Second phase fit-outs
- Witnessing contractor testing, inspection & commissioning procedures
