Job Opportunity: Resident Engineer - Solid Waste Sector

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a World Bank-financed project focused on solid waste management in Ghana. This vital role involves supervising the construction of the Ayidan Landfill, contributing to sustainable waste solutions in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure compliance with design and construction standards for landfill projects.
• Lead and manage construction supervision activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional qualifications in Sanitary/Environmental Engineering.
• Postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in solid waste management, including landfill design and construction supervision.
• At least three similar assignments in construction supervision.
• Experience in Ghana or the region is preferred.

Contract Details:

• Location: Accra, Ghana.
• Duration: 18 months starting May 2025 (excluding a 12-month Defects Liability Period).
