Senior Surveyor

Job description

Senior Surveyor
Competitive salary
Birmingham, UK (hybrid working)

Allen & York are thrilled to be working with one of the largest and most respected property consultancies in the UK with a network of 34 offices across England and Wales. Working with a diverse and long-standing client base, including private landowners, farmers and local authorities, this is a great opportunity to join a progressive and highly regarded consultancy.

Our client is looking for an innovative Senior Surveyor to join the growing Infrastructures team, focussing on client advisory for land assembly and compensation on behalf of developer, acquiring authority and private landowner clients.

You'll be RICS qualified and a RICS Registered Valuer with extensive experience in a general practice/infrastructure surveying role with a business development orientated attitude. You will have the ability to drive business initiatives forward whilst maintaining existing client relationships. An excellent all-round communicator, you'll enjoy working collaboratively with your colleagues and clients at all levels. With a friendly, empathetic, diplomatic and approachable nature, you'll thrive working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is essential.

A full clean UK driving licence is required for this role.

Compulsory Purchase experience would be advantageous to this role, as would rural surveying experience.

In return for your specialist skills and experience, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including a variety of flexible benefits, enabling you to choose those that suit your personal circumstances. This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering, forward thinking consultancy where your contribution is valued, and you're encouraged to fulfil your potential.
