Waste Management and Landfill Specialist / Project Team Lead
📍 Location: Siem Reap, Kampong Speu, and Kandal, Cambodia
💼 Contract: 56 weeks | 💰 Rate: $450 per day

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Waste Management and Landfill Specialist / Project Team Lead for a World Bank-financed project focused on the detailed design and construction supervision of landfill and waste treatment infrastructure in Cambodia.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Oversee design and construction supervision of sanitary landfills and waste treatment facilities.
✔ Conduct site investigations and remediation planning for closed dumpsites.
✔ Ensure compliance with international and regional environmental standards.
✔ Collaborate with stakeholders, including development banks and local authorities.

Requirements:

✔ Civil/Environmental Engineering degree or a related field.
✔ 15+ years of experience in waste management and landfill projects.
✔ 10+ years of international experience in medium-scale sanitary landfill design and remediation.
✔ Prior work in Southeast Asia and experience with multilateral development banks is highly preferred.
