Waste Management Specialist & Project Manager - World Bank-Financed Project
📍 Location: Siem Reap, Kampong Speu, and Kandal, Cambodia
💼 Contract: Project-based
A leading consultancy is seeking a Waste Management Specialist & Project Manager for a World Bank-financed project focused on the detailed design and construction supervision of landfill and waste treatment infrastructure in Cambodia.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Oversee environmental infrastructure construction, specifically sanitary landfills
✔ Manage remediation of closed dumpsites and waste treatment projects
✔ Ensure compliance with international Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards
✔ Collaborate with multilateral development banks and local stakeholders
✔ Provide strategic project planning and execution oversight
Requirements:
✔ 10+ years of international experience in waste management and environmental infrastructure
✔ 5+ years of project management experience in sanitary landfill construction and remediation
✔ Expertise in OHS regulations and environmental compliance
✔ Prior experience in Southeast Asia and working with multilateral development banks preferred
