Associate Director / Principal Sustainability Consultant
£50k +, London
Are you an experienced Sustainability Consultant, with knowledge of Real Estate due diligence, looking for a great new role?
We're looking for an Associate Director or Principal Sustainability consultant to help develop sustainability services and work with wider teams to facilitate sustainability / resilience related projects for clients. If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
You'll be commercially astute, with a good understanding of commercial property markets and a good in-depth knowledge across key sustainability, ESG topics and compliance and disclosure requirements relevant to the real estate industry in the UK and Europe.
In addition to client related project work, you'll assist with the development and implementation of the company's sustainability strategy and supporting the division, understanding trends, risks and opportunities within the sustainability space.
Requirements
The Associate Director or Principal Sustainability Consultant needs to have good working knowledge or experience in some of the following; sustainability principles, frameworks and Benchmarking tools, ESG / sustainability screening and data capture, climate risk and resilience, energy efficiency auditing and MEES risk, decarbonisation and carbon footprint reporting, BREEAM Assessments. Working from either a sustainability consultancy or in-house sustainability role or MRICS Chartered Surveyor.
A background with working in commercial property, property managers and an understanding of the landlord and tenant relationship, would be desirable.
