The Client is a dynamic and innovative leader in the renewable energy sector, committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions. As we expand our focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), we seek a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager with a robust Battery Energy Storage Systems background. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our BESS projects. This individual will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet or exceed quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges.
2. Project Execution:
- Lead project teams through all phases of project development, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, regularly updating project status, milestones, and potential risks.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that BESS projects meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
5. Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Battery Energy Storage Systems or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of BESS technologies, components, and integration with power systems.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
