Allen & York are excited to be working with an award-winning, dynamic consultancy, specialising in delivering functional infrastructure and lasting environmental and social legacies.
Our client is looking for a passionate Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England. Becoming an essential member of their Safety & Risk Team, you will have the opportunity to assist a valued and longstanding client to deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects. You will work as the technical lead for the region and resource a team who discharge the duties of principal designer and CDM advisor on a varied portfolio of schemes.
You will manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants who work across the Southwest region working closely with internal stakeholders within the client organisation, their Project Managers and the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team and external deliver partners.
Projects will range from feasibility studies, through outline & detailed design and construction on site. It will be important to ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental and health & safety requirements.
Candidates will ideally be a Chartered Member of IOSH or working towards with a relevant Diploma or Degree with a sound and demonstrable knowledge of CDM and its regulations. Experience managing a team with Project Design experience will be advantageous with an ability to work with, maintain build client relationships.
You will need to hold a full UK driving licence for this role.
