Job description
Are you passionate about building safety and ready to take on a pivotal role at the forefront of regulatory compliance? This is a unique opportunity for a skilled consultant to make a real difference across residential and commercial projects - particularly high-rise, high-risk, and complex structures. You will help clients navigate the challenges of fire safety, structural integrity, and the latest legislative changes including the Building Safety Act 2022.
You'll be working closely with design and construction teams from RIBA stages through to gateway approvals, shaping projects with safety in mind from day one. Whether it's reviewing fire strategies, producing safety case reports, or liaising with regulators and inspectors, you'll be at the centre of critical decisions that impact lives. Your technical advice will not just ensure compliance - it will build confidence.
We're looking for someone with experience in building safety or construction consultancy, ideally with a relevant degree and membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. CMIOSH, MIFireE, MCIOB, MRICS). You'll be confident leading conversations with regulators, proactive on-site, and capable of guiding others through the complex regulatory landscape. Experience in external wall remediation and navigating government safety schemes is highly desirable.
In return, you'll join a collaborative, values-driven team that genuinely cares about safety, improvement and professional growth. You'll be supported to continue developing your expertise - and to mentor others in turn. The role offers flexibility, purpose, and the chance to be part of something bigger than just compliance.
Ready to bring your building safety expertise to an environment that values both passion and precision?
