A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a regional construction company based in the Lincolnshire region and working across the Lincolnshire and northern regions. The company have continued to grow and have developed an excellent reputation through quality of service and on time delivery of works.
This role will involve supporting project teams to deal with safety matters on site as well as inspections, site meetings and assisting with audits. It is an important part of the role that candidates can liaise and work with key members of the project and on-site teams to provide practical and sound advice. This could involve producing accident reports as well as investigations.
As an autonomous role reporting directly to the Head of Health and Safety you will be the primary point of contact for projects in the Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. A key part of the role will be to influence change and build strong relationships with both management teams and project delivery teams.
It is essential that candidates have experience of working within the construction industry and has a track record of building sustainable relationships with Contracts Teams and Site Managers. CDM knowledge is essential and working across a range of projects. Experience of ISO management systems would be advantageous.
It would be ideal if candidates have a NEBOSH Construction Certificate but more important is the experience of 3-5 years working within a principal or sub-contractor directly on site. The ability to travel throughout the region is required as well as some time in the office but the company provide agile working.
