Allen & York works closely with a boutique sustainability consultancy and they're now looking to recruit a Senior Client Manager to join their growing business. My client works with global corporations they were navigating sustainability on the challenges of decarbonisation and they offer a range of services including strategy development, materiality assessments, ESG readiness, communications and senior leadership expertise to create bespoke offerings, specific to each business.
Reporting to one of the Directors, you will be at the forefront of the client engagement and will liaise with them with regards all project management queries. It will be your responsibility to manage the stakeholder engagement, allocate resources UN team priorities on a day-to-day basis, putting together detailed project plans, being responsible for financial budgeting and also contribute to content creation. It goes without saying your communication skills will be second to none, not just verbal but written, you'll have excellent project and time management skills, you'll be able to anticipate issues and come up with solutions and be able to juggle a number of different projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will most likely come from a consultancy or agency background, but it would also be beneficial if you have some corporate experience, and proven experience of managing accounts is expected. As my client is a sustainability consultancy, it will be hugely beneficial if you have experience in the sector, however it is more important to hold strong and proven client engagement skills.
