Community & Communications Manager

Job description

Allen & York are delighted to be working with an existing client but within an exciting new division of their business to help them secure a Communications & Community Manager, ideally with D2C or E-commerce experience.

My client is a strategy consultancy and creative agency with sustainability at their heart and they've established a new division of the business which works with producers to market sustainable products. The first of these is an insect-based pet food and they need someone to manage the digital content and the 'community management' side of the business.

You'll be responsible for really connecting with the brand's community through all areas of the customer journey and essentially be the voice of the brand. To do this, your customer service skills will be exceptional, you'll be people led with sustainable values and able to nurture communities on the brand's social accounts so strong digital experience is required. E-commerce experience would put you in a strong position also and if you have experience in brand communications, that would be great.

You'll engage with the Communications Team from time to time to strengthen your offering and ensure the customer community is thriving and you'll manage reporting of activity with the client and within the business.

The two main areas of focus for the role are D2C or E-commerce experience and digital content experience so you may have worked in a retail environment previously or another sector in a digital function and an interest in sustainability is beneficial but not essential.

This is an exciting role working within a sustainability focused agency for a unique sustainable product and as you can expect, you'll be extremely well organised, be able to prioritise tasks, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to liaise with customers and the distributors, be agile, able to adapt to changing speeds and levels of work and you'll have a positive, 'can-do' attitude.

Based in their London offices, you'll be able to work some of the week remotely, but it is important that you can access the offices in East London 2-3 days a week for meetings, etc. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary and very attractive benefits package.

So, if you're passionate about sustainability, brands and people and would like to join a well renowned, innovative consultancy who have a strong sustainability offering and work on this fantastic new product helping cats save the planet, call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207.
