Job description
Allen & York are delighted to be working with an existing client but within an exciting new division of their business to help them secure an E-Commerce Operations Manager with D2C or E-Commerce experience.
My client is a strategy consultancy and creative agency with sustainability at their heart and they've established a new division of the business which works with producers to market sustainable products. The first of these is an insect-based pet food and they need someone to manage all aspects of the distribution, stock management and operational management on behalf of the manufacturer.
You'll be responsible for managing the stock levels in the warehouse and working with the logistics providers to manage deliveries including stock rotation, turnover, etc, and you'll be delivering outstanding customer service through responding to customer service, compliant handling and managing deadlines. In addition, you'll be responsible for analysing large data sets in order to enable accurate and meaningful reporting of sales, margins, turnover and quality and customer fulfilment rates. You'll also be responsible for jointly managing the twelve month rolling calendar which will include PR campaigns, live events and press releases. As such, you'll engage with the Marketing and Comms Teams so any experience you have of doing this in previous roles will be advantageous.
The two main areas of focus for the role are D2C or E-commerce experience and operational experience and you may have worked in a retail environment previously or logistics and an interest in sustainability is beneficial but not essential.
This is an exciting role working within a sustainability focused agency for a unique sustainable product and as you can expect, you'll be extremely well organised, be able to prioritise tasks, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to liaise with customers and the distributors, be agile, able to adapt to changing speeds and levels of work and you'll have a positive, can-do attitude.
Based in their London offices, you'll be able to work some of the week remotely but it is important that you can access the offices in East London 2-3 days a week for meetings, etc. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
So, if you'd like to join a well renowned, innovative consultancy who have a strong sustainability offering and work on this fantastic new product helping cats save the planet, call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207.
