With over 50 years history, our client is a leading enabling services provider working closely with the construction sector which includes, demolition, environmental services and waste.
They are now looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to provide guidance and advice to projects to ensure they meet their company, statutory and client requirements. The role will assist with the planning and preparation of required licence/permit consents and monitor evidence of all works being completed in a manner that satisfies all conditions set out by the consents granting bodies.
Other responsibilities will include preparing Environmental Management Plans and Site Waste Management Plans and provide management information on the environmental performance of all works.
Candidates will have a good understanding of the construction industry and sustainability, excellent people management skills and ideally experience of London's Low Emission Zone for Non-Road Mobile Machinery. Experience of sustainability assessments (BREEAM, LEED, WELL) will work well for this opportunity.
Candidates should have an Environmental degree or similar and ideally membership of IEMA but must have a driving licence for regional travel.
