Environmental Consultant
London UK (Hybrid Working)
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant who is experienced in managing and performing environmental projects and Social Impact Assessments. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the resources industry (mining sector, oil and gas and renewables). Are you able to project manage and administrate multi-disciplinary environmental projects and compile proposals on international projects? If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
You will be expected to:
Project manage the environmental legislative process, relevant to the country of work.
EIA and EMP report writing
Environmental Permitting, Mining Applications
Waste permitting
Basic Assessment and EIA in line with legislation
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within the resources/infrastructure industry, a post graduate degree in Environmental Management or Similar. A Project management certificate would be beneficial with the willing to travel locally and internationally, including Africa.
Additional experience:
Knowledge of Applicable Environmental and mining legislation
Knowledge of IFC
A willingness to travel with Experience/understanding of Africa.
A valid passport and driver's license.
