Nature & Biodiversity Consultant - London
(Hybrid Working)
Are you passionate about biodiversity and making a real impact in the resource industry? Join a dynamic environmental consultancy dedicated to driving nature-positive outcomes and shaping the future of biodiversity stewardship.
In this role, you'll lead and support high-impact projects focused on biodiversity policy, critical habitat assessments, and nature-based solutions. You'll work closely with clients to develop Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs), biodiversity footprinting strategies, and nature-positive roadmaps aligned with global standards like IFC PS6, TNFD, and Science-Based Targets (SBTs).
What You'll Do:
✅ Deliver biodiversity and nature projects for clients in the resource industry.
✅ Develop biodiversity strategies, critical habitat assessments, and nature restoration plans.
✅ Advise on biodiversity offset principles and no net loss/net gain strategies.
✅ Integrate biodiversity services with sustainability reporting, Scope 3 emissions assessments, and life cycle analysis.
✅ Provide expert guidance on green infrastructure design and nature-based solutions.
✅ Support and manage biodiversity projects from inception to completion.
What You'll Bring:
🌍 Master's degree in Ecology, Conservation Science, or a related field.
🌱 Experience in biodiversity strategy, ecological assessments, and conservation planning.
📜 Expertise in global biodiversity frameworks, financial lending standards, and offset principles.
📊 Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills.
🌏 Willingness to travel internationally to remote locations.
