Position: Environmental Manager / Director

The regular duties are to include the following:

  • provide advice on environmental policies and regulations in multiple regions
  • advise and support of the Company's projects with relation to emission calculations and chemical usages
  • advise on required equipment to meet emission control standards and reduction targets
  • liaise with third party environmental management agencies and manage applications for relevant and required permits.
  • It is also expected that the employee will support the identification of possible grant and other state aid schemes relevant to the Company and assist in the compilation, drafting and submission of applications to access these schemes in conjunction with both internal and third party resource as required.
  • prepare relevant regulatory and best practice documentation and policies.
  • Project Environmental permitting
  • Environmental planning
  • Lead technical evaluation of the project environmentally
  • Generate the required calculations associated with carbon footprint for renewable projects - Green hydrogen (a must)
  • Experience in obtaining permits in the UK (a must) and having done permitting for project overseas (would be a plus)
  • Proven Experience in gasification or pyrolysis of biomass or waste
  • Higher degree (would be a plus)
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in environmental applications field


Salary range £70 - £140K. based on experience, leadership, and qualifications
