We are seeking a ESG Director to work for a leading global professional services organisation based in London.

This is your opportunity to have a meaningful impact on one of the biggest issues facing our generation and many generations to come. by helping to reform the whole economy and the society in which we live.

You will utilise speed, collaboration, and imaginative thinking to help clients build a climate transition strategy by using non-financial and climate reporting, you will help clients to transform sustainably, ensure their evolution to Net Zero is fair and rewarding.

As Director of ESG - Banking you will be a leading force within the ESG team working as part of the overall Risk line of the client's service offering. You will utilise your comprehensive understanding of the ESG sector and have a strong profile within the market as an expert in ESG as well as being considers thought leader in the sector. This will be evidenced by you having led the delivery of ESG reporting and regulatory initiatives for either a regulatory body, bank/financial institution or even perhaps a consultancy, you should also be familiar with (TCFD, PRA SS3/19, UN Principles for Responsible Banking).

The successful candidate will have a highly developed knowledge of the ESG regulatory and reporting environment, especially in regards to banking and capital markets, with vast in depth understanding of the potential strategic impact on clients EU and UK regulation may have, you will utilise your skills to forecast and adapt the advise you give to incorporate emerging ESG trends.

Having developed and implemented ESG risk, governance and reporting frameworks for banks in the past you will be ideally placed towork across a diverse range of well-known clients across the financial services sector. This will include client advisory engagements on all aspects of ESG reporting and regulation, as well as being a trusted ESG advisor to the business internally.
