Fire Risk Assessor

Allen & York are working with a progressive consultancy that provides fire safety to a range of organisations across the Southeast of England. The company have grown and are now in a position to recruit into the team a Fire Risk Assessor to service clients predominantly in the Essex region.

The company provide a range of services which include fire risk assessments, fire door inspections and fire stopping surveys as well as health and safety risk assessments.

The role is a hybrid role based in Essex to assess a range of residential and commercial properties providing reports and recommendations to clients. The role will involve travel throughout the region and will require strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and build lasting relationships.

Candidates should be experienced and passionate towards fire safety able to work alone and as part of a small team, in addition to being self-motivated and proactive candidates will have a keen eye for detail with a professional and well-presented demeanour.

Candidates will have at least 3 years' experience of fire risk assessments in residential properties and ideally commercial as well with a demonstrable track record of working on fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys. A level 4 Fire Safety qualification is required with ideally membership to a relevant institution.
