Fire Safety Adviser

Job description

Allen & York are proud to be working with one of the world's most prestigious estate landlords with a portfolio of premier clients globally. Our client works to the highest standards and as such, this is reflected in the work they provide to, and is demanded by, the estate and property owner.

Reporting to the Senior HSE Manager, this role will be focussed within residential property, predominantly in the London region but will include properties further afield throughout the UK.

The focus of this role will be orientated towards Fire Safety and helping maintain and manage The Golden Thread for high rise and high-risk residential buildings. There will also be involvement and collaboration in commercial activities as part of the wider team.

The role will include collaboration with key stakeholders across the business including FM, HSE, client liaison and regulatory authorities as well as participating in steering group meetings. The role will include some technical administrative work and so clear presentation and written skills will play an important part in this role.

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a wider team in a commercial environment allowing candidates to gain experience in a multi-national organisation and build on their existing knowledge and skillset.
Candidates will require experience of Fire Safety in a residential environment, ideally in high rise and complex property environments with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates will have alongside their fire experience a suitable fire qualification, ideally level 4, or a combination of Fire and Health & Safety.

About us: Allen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years. We partner with our clients and candidates on roles that build an understanding of climate change, promote sustainability, and create inclusive and responsible organisations, working towards a sustainable world for us all.

Committed to inclusiveness in the workplace, we aim to increase diversity across all areas and therefore welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, age, or whether they have a disability.

Let's help build a better world, together.
