Job description
Allen & York is delighted to be working with a global engineering company with operating units and manufacturing sites worldwide who are now looking to recruit a Group Sustainability Reporting Manager - a new role - which will complete the Sustainability Team.
Based at the company headquarters just outside Bristol, you'll be joining a firm who are working to make their services more efficient and sustainable across three areas. You will have experience of writing reports, preferably sustainability reports in line with various frameworks including FTSE4Good, CDP, GRI and TCFD and collecting, analysing and understanding large sets of data. In addition, you'll be able to evidence your stakeholder engagement skills, predominantly external but internal as well. Leading the plc's sustainability reporting strategy, you'll analyse ESG trends and make reporting recommendations and you'll be expected to be keep up to date with changes to reporting regulations and other developments in the sector and driving best practice within the business.
You may be working in a corporate environment or consultancy (or have experience of both) but regardless of where you've worked, you will be competent at managing your workload during the critical reporting season in particular. In addition, you will be adept at taking complex information and explaining it to non technical professionals. It is also expected that you will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a Team.
Based in the South West, it is beneficial for you to access the offices, especially early on and during the reporting season but you will be able to divide your time between the office and home, to make the role work around you.
So, if you have strong writing skills (ideally working on sustainability reports) and you'd like to join a Team where you can learn and grow, call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207.
