HS&Q Manager

Excellent opportunity to join a progressive and prominent organisation working in the renewables industry across sectors throughout the UK including public sector, construction, housebuilding and rail. The organisation has gone from strength to strength in recent years through organic growth but also now through investment as part of a FTSE 250.

In this new role, reporting through to the Head of Operations, the role will work to create systems and policies for the company across its operations as well as creating a culture of best practice in line with the standards upheld in other areas of the organisation.

The role will include assessing risks throughout the company, creating policy and working practices to ensure standards are met as well as creating a strong working culture of ownership. This will include ensuring all employees educated and are aware of their responsibilities and will also include reporting into management to provide updates and statistics.

Candidates should have a background of Health & Safety, ideally in a management capacity and setting up new systems, audit programmes etc. You should be qualified to Diploma level but there is flexibility as experience is important in this role. Experience working with management systems is advantageous as would be a auditing qualification.

Candidates will have experience of working with engineering, lone workers, manufacturing or similar with a flexible approach to travel as required. Candidates should be within a commutable distance of Weston Super-Mare.
