Our client is a leading grounds maintenance and infrastructure business working with leading commercial operators throughout the UK across a wide spectrum of industry sectors including construction, rail and infrastructure supporting both the public and private sectors.
This opportunity for a HSEQ Manager is to manage the Midlands region supporting remote and onsite teams relating to the rail part of the business, ensuring safe work environments and best practice is adhered to.
The role will involve conducting audits and risk assessments as well as training as required, identifying key areas of risk and mitigating as necessary throughout the region.
The role will involve working closely with staff, key stakeholders within the business and client relationships, maintaining strong working relationships throughout.
Candidates should ideally have a background working in an infrastructure or grounds maintenance environment but should have experience working within rail and ideally hold or have held a PTS certificate.
It is expected that candidates will hold a NEBOSH Diploma with GradIOSH status and be willing to travel throughout the midlands and south midlands region with occasional UK travel as required.
This is a hybrid working role so a combination of travel, home working and occasional visits to head office will be required.
