Human Factors Specialist

Allen & York are delighted to be working with an organisation who deliver safety excellence and provide support, advice and technical expertise across a range of disciplines and partners across the UK.

This role as Human Factors Specialist will work in conjunction to provide support in setting out the Human Factors strategy and leading on complex programmes for industry which include, standards, research, publications and other initiatives.

The will have direct reports but will also work as part of a wider team providing management direction but also technical input to the wider team. This will include conducting training on Human Factors to internal stakeholders as well as partners and external clients as required.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who is qualified in Human Factors, Psychology or Ergonomics to MSc standard or can demonstrate through experience an equivalent level. The role will demand that candidates can demonstrate a track record of delivery, leading complex industry Human Factors programmes working across multiple stakeholders.

It is expected that candidates will be Members of a relevant body such as the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics with a portfolio of experience complimentary to the expectations of this outstanding opportunity.
