Based out of Milton Park, Oxfordshire you will be joining a well-established Landscape team as a Landscape Consultant, where you will provide high quality advice for all types of developments from the initial feasibility stage through to construction. As a result of the businesses ongoing success in this area, you will join a growing team of professionals who work closely with colleagues in other disciplines, such as Planning, Ecology, Arboriculture and Archaeology and the wider business.
As a Landscape Consultant you will be expected to deliver landscape based projects in a friendly, fast moving, client focussed commercial environment where much of the work relates to landscape and visual assessment with a strong focus on Strategic Green Infrastructure studies with some design work required.
Day to day you will be carrying out landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA) and opportunities and constraints work, particularly relating to housing and energy developments under the guidance of the Senior Landscape Consultant. It will be necessary for you to work flexibly with regard to type of work, timing and location.
Carrying out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis along with report writing, liaising with clients and statutory bodies as necessary will be second nature to you.
In this role you will be assisting in the delivery of landscape and other requested input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications, while assisting in the delivery of Landscape Research and Strategic Green Infrastructure studies.
Your understanding and knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative suite with a high level of technical competence that will enable you to produce plans, sections and construction details. Although not essential, knowledge and experience of GIS would be an advantage.
