Manager - GHG Protocol

Job description

Allen & York is partnering with an organisation who work with global corporate businesses to publish voluntary standards for reporting on GHG emissions. They are now looking to recruit three Managers, one for each of their three globally recognised standards and work to advance the understanding, technology and theory and to develop relationships with a range of businesses to drive improvements. This is a really exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic, results oriented company who are constantly pushing the boundaries and you'll be driving the strategy on the GHG Protocol.

Joining existing Teams of professionals, you will most likely be working for a consultancy or NGO and will have strong technical knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards, corporate GHG accounting and reporting and Life Cycle Assessment, combined with excellent communication skills, engaging with multiple stakeholders including C-Suite professionals in a range of corporate businesses.

In addition to your strong technical skills, you will exhibit strategic leadership, excellent project management skills, stakeholder engagement and a degree of entrepreneurialism and you'll be familiar with working in an international setting, liaising with people from different cultural backgrounds and time zones.

The company's main and growing office for GHG emissions standards is Amsterdam so ideally you'll be based here, or are willing to relocate to Amsterdam and support will be given with visas but regardless of the location, you will be fluent in spoken and written English.
