Calling all ESG Assurance Professionals, this is your chance to work for a FTSE 250 listed, global services business based in their London office. You will work as part of their ESG Assurance team, helping deliver the Assurance related ESG Services to clients in line with assurance standards such as ISAE 3000.
In the role you will be responsible for engaging with clients, managing workflow and delivering the assurance engagement throughout the process until completion of the project.
As Manager/ Senior Manager - ESG, you will leverage your previous experience and knowledge of Audit/ Assurance while delivering ISAE 3000 engagements, ideally this experience will include some direct exposure to the financial services sector, with knowledge of developing and producing ESG aligned assurance activities to appropriate standards. You will provide support for other managers and Directors as part of the ongoing evolution of service offering, collaborating to identify new opportunities to expand the ESG service offering.
Within this role you will engage frequently in providing consultancy services around policy writing and carbon neutrality, ESG reporting requirements and data capture to enable this. It is also expected you will develop and produce ESG associated assurance engagements, to appropriate ISAE 3000 and PRI standards.
You will be relied upon to work with external parties, such as Carbon Footprint and third party data providers to enable clients to gather data, documents and calculate the accurate calculation of their carbon footprint using applicable best practice methodology throughout the sector. Directing workflow with carbon auditors, revising calculations if needed and working closely until ultimately conclusion of the footprint approval will be part and parcel of the role.
Any knowledge of ESG related frameworks will be advantageous to you in this role as will experience of working with and managing relevant internal and external relationships. Ideally you will hold a professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent.) for 2 or more years and hold membership to a professional accountancy body.
You will respond to all client queries and requests received, efficiently and precisely, while maintaining exceptional client service. This will include setting up Assurance controls, processes and templates as required within ISAE 3000 and other assurance standards as required.
