MARINE CONSULTANT
Our client is Bahrain's No.1 Environmental Consultancy; set up in 2001 as the Kingdom of Bahrain's first registered Environmental Consultancy and approved by the Supreme Council for Environment. Over the past 20 years, our client has carried out Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for Bahrain's most prestigious industrial, infrastructure and development projects and is not only active in Bahrain, but also in the rest of the Gulf Region and especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Marine consultant with at least 5 years' experience undertaking coral reef and fish surveys, preferably within the Red Sea, and preparation of marine environmental baseline reports (in English). Experience in coral relocation is also an option.
Key skill sets to include proficiency in SCUBA, use of PRIMER or other statistical packages, and EIA.
Good English speaking and writing skills (report writing).
Excellent salary and relocation package available. Location: Office based work and site work in Bahrain; site work in Saudi Arabia; site work in GCC.
