Principal/Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant
£50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
Manchester, UK. Site and office based with potential for flexible working
Allen & York are thrilled to be working with an innovative remediation and enabling work contractor, providing remediation environmental consultancy and demolition to a range of industry sectors.
Our client is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Principal/Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the business in a technical lead role and grow the consulting side of the business.
You'll need to hold a relevant degree in engineering, environmental science or geology with extensive experience within the geotechnical, remediation and/or geo-environmental consultancy industries. With significant experience in contaminated land assessment, earthworks/ground engineering specifications, Materials Management Plans, permitting and waste soil classification, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and deliver, both technically and operationally in site and office-based work. An excellent communicator, you'll have a flexible and collaborative attitude to solving problems in a non-hierarchal environment.
Holding Chartered and QP status would be advantageous to this role.
You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to work sites, predominately in the Northwest but further afield on occasion.
