Public Relations Specialist - Carbon Markets - Germany
Allen & York are delighted to be working exclusively with 44.moles, a swiftly growing subsidiary of the Waldholz group, a large Internationally renowned forestry management and investments firm, 44.moles leads the way in connecting forestry with state-of-the-art technology. Their unwavering commitment to establishing ethical and sustainable carbon offsets, underscored by a steadfast dedication to transparency, has led 44.moles to seek an energetic individual to join the team as a Public Relations Specialist.
We seek an individual with a strategic mindset and the capacity to produce inventive concepts while effectively translating complex technical information into easily understandable language and be responsible for addressing media inquiries and actively reinforcing and advancing the client's core message.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to achieve 44.moles goals. Your skills will be crucial in identifying key messages and target audiences for 44.moles communication efforts, as well as building and nurturing strong relationships with journalists, reporters, and media outlets. Crafting and disseminating press releases, media advisories, and pitches to secure valuable media coverage will also be part of your role. In addition, you'll be instrumental in developing crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively address and manage public relations challenges, acting as a spokesperson during crises to ensure accurate and timely information reaches the media and the public. You'll also take the lead in managing budgets for PR campaigns and initiatives, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, along with proven experience in public relations within the sustainability or related industry. Proficiency in crisis management, fluency in English (any additional knowledge of German is a plus), strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, industry knowledge, exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, are all essential qualifications for the ideal Public relations Specialist. A willingness to relocate to their location in Germany or undertake the role with hybrid working and travel to office when required is essential.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary based of Circa €70,000 - €75,000 based on your skill set and experience.
