🌱 Rehabilitation Consultant - Mining & Environmental Consulting
Are you passionate about restoring landscapes and shaping a more sustainable future? We're partnering with a leading international environmental consultancy to find a talented Rehabilitation Consultant to join their team in Gauteng.
In this role, you'll design and deliver innovative rehabilitation plans, provide expert advice on soils and vegetation, and contribute to projects that directly impact mining-affected ecosystems. You'll work alongside multi-disciplinary teams, influence post-mining land use, and help develop practical, cost-effective solutions for clients.
What you'll be doing:
- A degree in Plant Science, Agriculture, Soil Science, Ecology, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, soils, and vegetation dynamics.
- Understanding of mining impacts, ecological principles, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to lead on-site assessments, monitoring, and reporting.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the confidence to engage with clients and peers.
