Job Title: Senior Consultant - Environmental Permitting
Location: West Midlands
Sector: Environmental Consultancy
We're seeking a Senior Consultant in Environmental Permitting to lead and deliver a wide range of projects, from permitting and pollution prevention to waste management licensing, risk assessments and environmental audits. This role combines technical delivery with project management, client liaison, and mentoring colleagues.
You'll play a key part in shaping environmental strategies, carrying out site inspections and modelling (e.g. dispersion, landfill gas), and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. The role offers scope to develop line management responsibilities and contribute to business development.
What we're looking for:
Relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) and ideally chartership or working towards
Strong background in environmental permitting and waste/mineral operations
Experience in risk assessments and/or hydrogeological modelling
Proven project management and client engagement skills
