Senior Environmental Planner - Toronto, ON
Are you an experienced Environmental Planner looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Planner to join a leading, global environmental consulting firm, working on Provincial and Federal Environmental Impact Assessments across diverse projects, including mining, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
๐น Key Responsibilities:
โ Lead environmental impact assessments and regulatory processes
โ Manage project tasks, proposals, and stakeholder consultations
โ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies
โ Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development
Qualifications & Experience:
โ Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field
โ 10+ years of experience in environmental program and project management
โ Experience with Federal IA, Class EA, TPAP, Ontario Energy Board/Canada Energy Regulator processes
โ Strong project management and technical writing skills
โ Experience working with Indigenous communities and regulatory approvals is an asset
โ Membership in Ontario Professional Planners Institute, OAIA, or ECO Canada EP designation is preferred
