Senior ESG Reporting Manager
Are you a high performing ESG professional with a background in reporting?
Would you relish taking a lead role on delivering intricate engagements to senior client stakeholders related to ESG Reporting?
In this role as Senior ESG Reporting manager you will be tasked with helping clients with tackling their ESG reporting challenges and creating value in both the short, medium and long term, based in the Edinbrough or Glasgow office. The next 2 years will be a critical transitional phase across ESG reporting globally, given the number of new and emerging ESG regulations that are being phased in currently and likely to be applicable in 2024 and beyond.
As the senior reporting manager your role will include (but not limited to) being a key part of managing the project team to undertake the following:
- Current state ESG reporting assessments;
- Upcoming regulatory impact assessments and gap analysis;
- ESG reporting landscape reviews and horizon scanning;
- ESG materiality assessments;
- ESG reporting maturity assessments;
- ESG reporting implementation design; and,
- ESG reporting assurance readiness assessments.
As the successful candidate, you will have a detailed understanding of the ESG and sustainability regulatory and reporting environment and an ability to proactively keep up to date with emerging regulations and standards such as TCFD, CRSD, ESRS, ISSB, SFDR, Taxonomy Regulations, SEC Climate Rule, PRA SS3/19, GRI, SASB, WEF IBC and UN Principles for Responsible Investment amongst others. You'll use your previous experience of working both client facing and working with internal stakeholder to facilitate successful completion of projects which will require you to manage teams to deliver client facing, and internal engagements, including monitoring engagement progress and budgets. You will also act as a ESG subject matter expert on these projects for ESG specific topics and reporting frameworks.
Hybrid / flexible working will be considered for the right candidate; ideally 2-3 days a week in the office is expected.
