Our client is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical services organisations working globally and employing nearly 100,000 people across 50 countries. The company is committed to creating a safer and healthier world and have an exciting new role to lead safety across a key facility.

This role, reporting through to the General Manager, will work as part of the senior site leadership team working closely with key stakeholders to create and nurture strong working relationships and a positive on-site safety culture. The role will have a dotted line into the Global Safety Director and will ensure that the site strategy is aligned to the overall safety strategy globally.

Managing a team, the role will have responsibility for ensuring effective procedures and systems are in place across the site. This is a challenging role where proactive relationship management is key to success and candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of working in a competitive, fast paced business working in a co-operative manner working with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates should have a proven track record of working at senior management level in a manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment with the gravitas to influence and manage at a senior level. Candidates will be of graduate calibre and a Chartered Member of IOSH ideally working in a pharmaceutical, chemical process driven sector.
