Senior / Principal Air Quality Specialist
£29k- £42k / Nationwide / Permanent/ Full time or part time considered

We're looking for a Senior / Principal Air Quality Specialist to work on multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors and for a wide variety of public and private sector clients. If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
Senior consultants will be expected to bring extensive technical expertise in detailed dispersion modelling and assessment of transport and industrial air quality, odour assessments, input into EIAs and environmental permit applications and ambient air quality and odour monitoring for projects in the UK. Senior consultants will manage and lead projects, and work closely with clients across a range of project sizes.
At Principal, we want to see people who can win projects and work effectively with clients. You'll be managing complex projects, building and inspiring teams, as well as bringing an impressive array of technical skills and experience across a wide range of Air Quality disciplines.
Requirements
The skills and experience we required will depend on the grade you are applying for, but as a minimum, we seek the following from an experienced Air Quality Specialists:
Dispersion modelling (e.g. ADMS/ADMS-Roads/AERMOD/DMRB)
Industrial air pollution, power generation, traffic emissions;
Dust and odour assessments;
Full member of IAQM;
Confidence in both managing existing client relationships and developing new clients/workloads;
Excellent report writing skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work without supervision;
Strong prioritisation and organisation skills;
Ability to handle confidential information; and
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
